Sweet Dreams

No need to feel guilty

Let us have a nap or two

It is all about self care

As too many things to do

Take that time for yourself

Settle, drift off and sleep

The chores can wait until later

Your alarm will go 'beep beep'

No need to fret and worry

Start counting those little sheep

Forgetful

Sometimes I am forgetful

Well truth be told, alot

I go into one room

Oh no, I've lost the plot

Where did I put that pencil

What am I doing here

Turn around go backwards

Just hope it reappears.

Drowning

Sometimes I feel like I'm drowning

So much I can barely breathe

Sick and tired of surviving

Never truly able to leave

I offer myself to the darkness

Take me for I am now yours

Engulf me within your greatness

Then wash me upon your shores.
